A lot of people use fake AirPods with Android phones. Yes, they work pretty well with Androids as well. You may lose some functionality while you have connected the AirPods with Android, but you get all the necessary functions like playing music, calling, and interacting with Google assistant.
In this article, we will tell you how you can connect your knock-of AirPods with your android phones.
Connecting Fake AirPods with Andriod Phones
Step 1: First of all, make sure that both the earbuds are charged. If only one is charged, you will not be able to hear sounds in both.
Step 2: Go to your phone’s setting and look for Bluetooth connectivity. Some android phones have a shortcut to Bluetooth when you drag down the quick setting and notification panel from the top. Turn the Bluetooth on.
Step 3: Now open the lid of the AirPods case. You will notice that your phone will prompt the name of the AirPods and ask you to allow access. When you hit “pair” or “connect,” it will connect with the AirPods. Once the connection has been made, some AirPods will blink blue or red lights to confirm the pairing.
Step 4: Now test the pairing by playing any music, calling someone, or running Google assistant. You can run Google assistant by double-tapping on any of the earbuds, disconnect the call with one tap. Play some music to ensure that you can hear on both the earbuds. If the sound is coming from only one of the earbuds, you need to reset your AirPods.
Some latest fake AirPods and Android phones have the feature to show the battery of your AirPods at the notification panel of your phone. For older models, you may need to download applications from Google Play Store. Remember that when AirPods are connected to non iOS devices, they may lose automatic pausing when you remove them from your ear.
